THANK YOU for your continued patronage and for recommending HART ALARM SYSTEMS

to your family, friends and neighbors whenever the subject of security is brought up. Basically, there are two sources of new clients and customers for us. The First is to find people cold---that is, we do not know them and they do not know us. The Second source, and the best way by far, is via a referral from one or more satisfied customers. Such referrals have been the reason for our continued growth over the years. 

As usual, the first sure sign the Holiday shopping season is here is that we are about to mail our 2008 pocket calendars. We ask you to pass on our annual word to the wise to anyone you know without an alarm system in their home. Over the next 4-5 weeks a substantial number of homes in the Capital Region will be burglarized. Don’t let theirs be one of them. They can have a system operating in their home before Christmas if they call the office now.

This is the most opportune time of the year for burglars. Just about every home will have a number of expensive gifts casually stacked somewhere waiting to be wrapped or delivered. Burglars know you will be out shopping and celebrating more than usual, so that is when they will be out and about their business.

Please remember to use your alarm system every time you leave, even if just to run down to a neighbors. It takes but a few minutes for a thief to take away a lifetime’s memories, something we see a bit too often. At this time of the year it is normal to feel pressured and start to rush a little more than usual, getting just a little bit careless.

This is also the time of year when more unwanted alarms/dispatches occur. The reasons we see year after year are:

· Holiday decorations activating motion detector(s)

· Unfamiliarity with arming and disarming the alarm system

· Forgotten or unknown passwords

If you are going to have someone coming in to check the house familiarize them with the system.
